Further strengthening our Loan to Income (LTI) for higher earning customers

We’re continuing to enhance the support you can offer your higher earning customers.

We’ve increased our maximum LTI for joint applicants earning £150,000+, with access to up to 6.5x income at 75% Loan to Value (LTV) or less.

This is our fourth LTI enhancement this year, giving you even greater flexibility to support your customers who are looking to maximise their borrowing potential.

Improved service levels page

To help you manage your customers’ applications efficiently, we’ve relaunched our service levels page with a clearer layout and up to date information. Here, you’ll find details on the progress of applications, underwriter reviews, and our average time to offer, allowing you to track service expectations with ease. Update on Credit Search Name Display for Recent Broker Mortgage Applicants

From 17th June, customers who submitted an application with us with a Broker in the last 12 months may notice an alert on their credit report showing our name differently. Previously, the search appeared as NatWest Intermediary Solutions, but this will now change to NatWest Intermediaries. ​


Customers may receive an email saying something like ‘Something has changed on your Credit Report’. This is standard and not a new credit check. It’s simply an update to the name shown on the credit search footprint. ​

If you are contacted by a customer regarding this, please reassure them that no new hard searches are being recorded-only the name on the existing footprint is updated.​
